MultiXscale EuroHPC JU Center of Excellence invites you to a webinar on 17 July 2025. The session will introduce two key platforms: Lhumos, a new e-learning platform offering specialized training in HPC, quantum, and classical simulations of matter, and the recently enhanced Materials Cloud Archive repository.

Lhumos (Learning HUb for MOdeling and Simulation) offers a comprehensive suite of training resources tailored for the materials science community and beyond. The platform grants access to video lectures, tutorials, exercises, practical codes, examples, recorded seminars, and materials covering electronic structure calculations, molecular dynamics, code optimization, and more. Supported by MaX, CECAM, MARVEL, MultiXscale, BioNT, E-CAM, and DOME 4.0, Lhumos serves as a collaborative effort to enhance capacity building and facilitate knowledge sharing in both academia and industry.

During the same session, the upgraded Materials Cloud Archive will be showcased, which now supports FAIR data sharing in computational materials science. This newly redesigned version, officially launched on 23 June 2025, is based on InvenioRDM, a reliable data management system developed at CERN. Attendees will learn about the new features of the Materials Cloud Archive, the process for creating and submitting records, the publication workflow, and how the platform guarantees long-term data accessibility.
