EuroCC2's national competence center in Sweden (ENCCS) is organizing the GPU programming using Python webinar on 24 October 2024. The webinar is oriented to data scientists, software developers and researchers who want to start using GPUs to accelerate their computational workflows.

The webinar will begin by introducing familiar Python libraries like Numpy and Pandas. It will also provide guidance on leveraging the power of GPU accelerators using libraries such as CuPy, cuDF, PyCUDA, Jax and Numba. The emphasis will be on their distinct features and capabilities for high-performance computing. By participating in this seminar, you will gain the ability to initiate GPU usage in Python using high-level libraries, familiarize yourself with various vendors that offer different software stacks, toolkits, and frameworks, and make well-informed decisions regarding your GPU workflows.

This webinar is part of the ENCCS practical intro webinar series, which aims to provide brief and condensed introductions to key topics in high-performance computing and related technologies. Webinar materials, such as notebooks and code examples, are available online on Github. For more comprehensive tutorials and self-study materials, please visit the ENCCS lessons library.
