An online workshop on Kubernetes from a user perspective will be organized by the EuroCC National Competence Center Sweden (ENCCS) and Mimer AI Factory on 29 April 2026. Kubernetes is the backbone of modern infrastructure, being used for the deployment of all sorts of applications. Nowadays, knowing how to use it is an important skill for those interested in artificial intelligence, data science, and MLOps.
In this highly practical workshop, participants will learn how to use Kubernetes from a user perspective. The course combines short theoretical introductions with guided hands-on exercises where participants will configure a local cluster on their computers, deploy services, and run real workloads. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a working environment on their own machines and practical experiences deploying interactive tools, monitoring solutions, and AI workloads. This workshop is intended for AI/MLOps engineers, researchers, data scientists working with AI, machine learning, data science, or scientific computing. No prior Kubernetes experience is required.
