The SPACE Center of Excellence and NCC Czechia are pleased to announce an upcoming workshop on High-Performance Computing (HPC) Visualization. This workshop will focus on the latest tools and techniques for managing the vast datasets generated by large-scale simulations and observational surveys in astrophysics and cosmology. It will take place from 14 to 15 May 2025 in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center or online.

The increasing complexity of astrophysical and cosmological data - whether derived from large-scale simulations or extensive observational campaigns - demands powerful visualization tools to extract meaningful scientific insights. However, efficiently implementing these tools across various HPC platforms poses challenges, including hardware and software compatibility, scalability, and resource optimization.

This workshop will focus on strategies to tackle various challenges while showcasing the latest advancements in high-performance visualization, such as distributed visualization across heterogeneous architectures, parallel cinematic volume visualization, in-situ visualization, and visualization techniques for machine learning-assisted analysis.

While primarily focusing on astrophysics and cosmology, these techniques have wide applications across various scientific fields that involve large and complex datasets. We encourage researchers and developers who are interested in advanced visualization methods to participate.
