ENCCS (EuroCC2’s national competence center in Sweden) has scheduled an online workshop on High-performance programming from 13 to 15 November 2023. The three-day course will cover topics such as algorithms, complexity, cache efficiency, SIMD vectorization, and compiler optimizations. The focus will be on teaching useful techniques and mindsets to help participants improve their high-performance programming skills.

This workshop is intended for individuals who are familiar with the C language. It will also be relevant to Fortran programmers and will have a hardware focus on modern 64-bit x86 systems. It is assumed that you have knowledge of a Linux environment, as it is the most commonly used environment in high-performance computing. Whether you are an experienced programmer looking to optimize your code or a newcomer to the field, this workshop provides valuable insights into the world of high-performance programming.
