NCC France is planning to conduct a webinar on 23 January 2024, where they will present a comparative analysis of computational performance, scalability, and cost of OpenFOAM simulations using ARM-based instances and traditional x86 architectures on the Rescale cloud HPC platform.

The ARM architecture is well-known for its energy efficiency and performance, and it is becoming increasingly popular in the field of HPC due to recent advancements in processor technology. Running OpenFOAM simulations on ARM processors, like those found in ARM-based cloud instances, offers numerous advantages. The purpose of this webinar is to assess the efficiency and performance of using ARM architecture for OpenFOAM simulations.
