This course is designed for online self-study. There will be weekly synchronization meetings and suggested exercises that will be guided by the instructors via a dedicated Discord channel. The course will begin on 4 December 2023 at 10:00 and end on 18 December 2023 at 17:00.

This course will provide an introduction to Blender from the very basics, starting with the user interface and its basic functionality. The course will cover various topics including 3D scene, cameras, lighting and materials, as well as some basics of mesh editing and animation. Although it is helpful to have some familiarity with the basic concepts of 3D graphics, such as 3D geometry, transformations, and rendering, it will be easy to pick up this knowledge quickly during the course.

For specific details about the course, please visit the visualization team’s course page at SURF.
