Introduction to Supercomputing

Online SURF NCC Netherlands

Online training Introduction to Supercomputing will be organized by NCC Netherlands on 11 February 2026. This training is for anyone who wants to learn how to perform very large computing tasks, including many calculations or analyses that are too big for the system.

In this course, participants will learn how to work with large computing systems, including clusters and supercomputers, that can provide the computing power they need. Participants will understand what high-performance computing (HPC) is, learn basic details about clusters and supercomputers, perform practical exercises on the supercomputer Snellius, and apply essential best practices for working effectively with large HPC systems.
