NCC France and NCC Slovakia are hosting an online training session on Numerical Computing with Rust for CPU platforms from 25 to 27 November 2024. This event is divided into three parts to facilitate your learning and help you develop the skills necessary to write efficient numerical computations in Rust for CPU systems.
Over the three days, the training will include adapted practice sessions. On the first day, participants will be introduced to Rust for numerical computing, followed by hands-on work that focuses on implementing and optimizing simple numerical computations. The second day will conclude the discussions on simple computations and will introduce the Gray-Scott reaction-diffusion model, serving as an example of more complex computations for the remainder of the course. No prior knowledge is required for this session. Finally, on the third day of the training, participants will engage in practical work on advanced Rust performance optimization techniques applied to the Gray-Scott simulation introduced the previous day.
