ENCCS (EuroCC2's national competence center in Sweden) will host a three-day online workshop on Practical Deep Learning from 6 to 8 May 2025. The aim of the workshop is to provide beginners with a foundational understanding of deep learning concepts, workflows, network architectures, and applications.
During the initial two days, participants will receive a gentle introduction to deep learning. The session will begin with an overview of fundamental concepts, followed by an exploration of various steps in a deep learning workflow utilizing Python, TensorFlow, and Keras. This includes the preparation of training data, the implementation of a basic neural network, monitoring and troubleshooting the training process and visualizing results and model performance.
The workshop concludes with demonstrations of three representative applications, illustrating how deep learning is influencing modern technology in the fields of healthcare, image processing, and natural language understanding.
