EuroCC2’s national competence center in Sweden (ENCCS) is once again teaming up with NordIQuEst to host a three-day Quantum Autumn School from 2 to 4 December 2024. In addition to in-person seminars and hands-on sessions, the school will also be broadcast live for online participants. These participants will have the opportunity to engage in the school through live Q&A and chat actively. Places are limited, so it is crucial to register as soon as possible.
Experts from various organizations and industries will demonstrate the potential of quantum computing during the school. This year's program will delve into more advanced topics and tutorials compared to last year's Quantum Autumn School, which training material serves as an excellent introduction for those interested in attending.
The Quantum Autumn School 2024 will include an overview of the main state-of-the-art quantum computing (QC) hardware approaches, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of current technologies. Additionally, there will be an update on recent developments in QC software stacks, highlighting advancements and innovations in the field. The event will also address the integration of QC with classical computing, focusing on hybrid classical/quantum algorithms and high-performance computing (HPC) + QC systems. Lastly, the agenda includes a segment on QC programming in high-level languages tailored for scientific and industrial use cases, ensuring participants gain practical insights into applying QC in various domains.
