Scientific visualization with Blender

Online NCC Netherlands Blender

NCC Netherlands will conduct an online advanced course on Blender called Advanced topics in scientific visualization with Blender from 25 April to 3 May 2024. This course is a continuation of the introductory Blender course and is recommended for individuals who are already familiar with working in Blender and have some experience with Blender UI, 3D meshes, materials, lighting, and cameras.

In this course, you will be taught various advanced Blender topics, including the fundamentals of the Python API in Blender, the shader editor that utilizes nodes to create and modify materials, and more complex animation techniques such as shape keys. Additionally, you will work on a visualization project based on your own research or other interests, which is a crucial component of the course.
