In the near future, we plan to publish a series of blog posts regarding the European Centers of Excellence (CoE) for High-Performance Computing (HPC) Applications. CoEs encourage the utilization of upcoming exascale and extreme performance computing capabilities, as well as enhancing the scaling performance of existing parallel codes towards exascale. In terms of scientific domains, they encompass engineering, environmental science, renewable energy, materials modeling and design, molecular and atomic modeling, big data and global system science, bio-molecular research, and tools that enhance HPC application performance optimization.

In these posts, we'll provide a concise overview of each CoE, highlight the use cases and codes utilized by their community. Stay tuned to learn more about the development and adaptation of HPC applications for the exascale and post-exascale era.
