Last week in Luxembourg, representatives from HPC competence centers and partner institutions convened for the final review meeting of the EuroCC 2 and EuroCC4SEE projects. They showcased the network's progress in enhancing high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced digital skills across Europe.
The review covered activities related to training, user support, industrial collaboration, competence development, dissemination, and the wider integration of HPC and AI technologies into research and industry. According to the preliminary feedback shared by the reviewers, the consortium successfully demonstrated substantial progress and the growing maturity of the EuroCC network.
The reviewers further encouraged the consortium to make better use of the scale and diversity of the EuroCC ecosystem by sharing good practices, reusing successful approaches, and strengthening collaboration between competence centers across Europe.
Although EuroCC4SEE has officially concluded, HPC Serbia continues its activities within the EuroCC initiative through participation in the new EuroCC 3 project, which is currently in the Grant Agreement preparation phase. The continuation of the project will enable further development of national HPC and AI competencies, support services for academia and industry, international collaboration, and integration into the broader European HPC ecosystem.
