The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has announced the selection of six new AI Factories, further expanding Europe’s growing AI infrastructure network. With these additions, the continent now counts 19 AI Factories - state-of-the-art centers designed to accelerate the development, testing, and deployment of trustworthy, energy-efficient AI models across sectors.

The newly selected sites are located in Czechia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Spain, each hosting a national hub equipped with AI-optimized HPC resources, data platforms, and expert support. These facilities will act as one-stop shops for researchers, startups, and SMEs, providing access to computing power, AI tools, data services, and training opportunities.

In December 2024, seven countries were selected to host Europe’s initial AI Factories in Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and Sweden. In March 2025, the EuroHPC JU selected six additional AI Factories in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Poland, and Slovenia.
