Last week, representatives from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Serbia, Mirjana Ivčević and Đorđe Ristić, visited HPC Serbia at the Institute of Physics Belgrade. During the visit, we presented the aims and objectives of the EuroCC2 project, as well as other HPC-related projects established by EuroHPC. While staying at the Institute of Physics Belgrade, they also visited the PARADOX cluster installation.

In our meeting, we delved into the technical aspects of upgrading the PARADOX cluster. Specifically, we explored various options for upgrading the storage system, improving the interconnection between the PARADOX-IV and PARADOX-V clusters, and plans for future upgrades with GPU units. We also discussed HPE cluster management solutions and software upgrade utilities provided by HPE, which were very helpful.
