The EuroCC Austria, in collaboration with the VSC Research Center and TU Wien is hosting an online webinar for new users who may not have experience with the Linux command line. The course will take place on 10 March 2025.
Participants will learn how to log in to VSC. Instructors will provide step-by-step guidance on using the Linux command line and cover basic techniques to help you organize your workflows on the cluster. The course emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing you to immediately apply what you've learned and customize it to suit your needs.
All participants will receive a temporary user account on the VSC to complete the hands-on labs. You will need to use your own laptop or workstation to connect to the VSC and perform the exercises. If you are using a Windows operating system, please install the following software packages before the course: PuTTY and FileZilla or winscp.
