The Performance Optimization and Productivity (POP) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in HPC, along with NCC Austria, NCC Czechia, NCC Hungary, NCC Poland, and NCC Slovakia, are collaborating to organize the POP3 Profiling and Optimization Tools Workshop. This event will take place online from 4th to 6th September 2024.
This workshop focuses on tools and methodologies for performance analysis, debugging, and tuning through collaborative learning, especially for teams working on similar codes.
Throughout the program, the following will be covered:
- Introduction of the POP CoE and its performance assessment tools on the first day.
- Presentation of open-source multi-platform tools for MPI/OpenMP on CPUs on the second day.
- Focusing on advanced usage for CPU and GPU architectures on the third day.
Participants will learn to use Paraver/Extrae for tracing and analysis, as well as Scalasca/Score-P/CUBE for integrated performance analysis and tuning. They will also have access to additional POP CoE tools.
