This week, NCC Serbia took part in the INFOFEST 2024 conference in Budva, Montenegro. We were invited by Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium, to share our perspective on the future of AI in our region, empowered by supercomputing. Dr. Dusan Vudragovic from the Institute of Physics Belgrade provided an overview of the existing and upcoming infrastructures available to academia, the public sector, and SMEs at the national, regional, and European levels. He discussed the EuroHPC machines that are currently available and shared best practices for applying for access.

INFOFEST is an information technology achievements festival that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. It was a dynamic and inspiring experience filled with insightful discussions, lectures, thematic panels, and opportunities for networking and collaboration.

While we were in Budva, we met with our colleagues from NCC Montenegro to discuss the organizational details of the upcoming regional training event. This event is being organized in collaboration with NCC Turkey and NCC North Macedonia and will be held in October of this year.
